The Young Session of the Food Safety Forum

One of the sessions of the Food Safety Forum to be held in Brussels (more information here) will be the Young Session titled: “Youngs acting for the future of Food Safety in EU”.

The Young Session will inspire students, early-career professionals and other enthusiasts about endless possibilities in the food safety field. Everyone can submit an abstract for a poster presentation to showcase the impactful activities they are doing, and the dreams and goals they have to improve current food safety challenges. Five of these posters will be selected to give the author the chance to pitch his or her ideas in front of the audience. Moreover, three experts who have a remarkable career in food safety will give a power talk about their inspiring career paths and soft skills you need to add on your CV.

Whether you are a scientist, student, entrepreneur, policy advisor, food business operator or a communication expert, this interdisciplinary networking event will cover different angles to provide a holistic overview on what’s going on in food safety and provide career perspectives for the future.

If you want to share your idea, download the abstract template and send it to Celine Meerpoel (celine.Meerpoel@UGent.be) and Biancamaria Ciasca (biancamaria.ciasca@ispa.cnr.it). After acceptance, you will receive instructions for the poster presentation.

The deadline for the template submissions is the 27th of October.
